Somewhere on the Internet I read that early 2008 there existed worldwide a total of 151,268,957 websites, of which approximately one third actively maintained. That's a lot! Wenn we also would calculate the number of pages, it produces a number that will exceed my imagination.

This site adds a modest contribution to this. At the time of writing there are 46 pages that contain relevant content. By creating and maintaining these pages I will try to stay in touch with the interest of visitors. So, much attention to photography because that will be the main reason that this site is visited.

While I write this, I realize that this text mostly will not be read ... Well, so be it :-)

Man, over 40 years of age, currently working as the Head of an ICT department. Years ago while doing photography, it became far too expensive to develop my film. With it being so expensive, I unfortunately had to give up my hobby. With the rise of digital photography, I became interested again.

I use this site to show my best photo’s and also as a bit of a Joomla-toy. I hope that you enjoy my photos. If you would like to use them, please review the "Terms of Use" page. If you would like to contact me, please use the contact form.

In early 2005 I decided to put my photographic results on the Internet, I tried several vague tools but ending up with CopperMine and later moved to Gallery2. To add extra pages, these solutions are not really useful. Finaly I chose Joomla CMS because of its Gallery2 bridge.
But the operation of two major programs is not easy because patches (bugfixes) or templates (CSS) are getting in your way. The best solution for now is a simple CSS-based module.
